This is a dead wasp nest that was occupied last year. It will not be

Wasps and bees are often confused. Usually it is wasps that are controlled by Olympic Spray Service. Wasps are capable of stinging many times. Honey bees only sting once as they loose their stinger into the wound. The bee will then die. Bees are usually more docile and are not inclined to sting. Bees are fuzzy. Wasps are slick with no fuzz. Wasps are now forming their first nest. They form a comb and raise out the first eggs into adults. The adults then turn to gathering food and feeding the queen. She then lays 64 eggs and then 6 x 64 and so on with each generation. Read the rest of this entry »
