This is Sammy the Sharp Shinned Hawk that visits our bird feeders once in a while.  He is really a very beautiful bird.  He is hell on Pine Siskins though.  Notice there apears to be a band on the leg of this hawk.  This hawk was in a Tri-colored Beech tree next to my bird feeders.  A small bird recently hit one of our windows and Sammy was right there to scoop him up for lunch.
