Orchard Mason bees are becoming very important as polinators. We should encourage everyone to put up nest boxes for these bees. They need to be up by March as the bees come out with the first flowers in the Spring. The honey bee is disapearing which makes the Orchard Mason bee very important. Dead Wasp Nest

This is a dead wasp nest that was occupied last year. It will not be reoccupied this year. It will not need to be treated as the wasps will not use it again. The nest will deteriorate. Nests this size will not be visible until next July. Read the rest of this entry »
