ICYNENE in Clallam, Jefferson & Western Washington

This blob of Icynene Insulation shows that an air hole has been plugged.  No more will air and heat be allowed to flow out of the structure.  ICYNENE Insulation can be done in almost any County in Western Washington.  With the new funds being available for energy conservation, Icynene should be one of the first products to consider.  It will cut your energy bills in half when compared with fiberglass or cellulose fiber.  Icynene stops moisture vapor from entering the walls.  Moisture often moves through the drywall, fiber insulation and turns into liquid water when it reaches the dewpoint.  There is no ventilation in the wall to take the moisture out.

Icynene can be injected through a 1/2 inch hole into wall voids that have never had any insulation installed.  It can be sprayed between the studs of a new home.  It can be sprayed on the underlayment of the roof.  It can also be sprayed in the underhouse carwlspace between the joists.  If you  would like a bid for your home just call us at 457-4341, 379-3862, 1-800-828-5508 or call Andy directly on his cell phone at 1-360-912-0227.  He would be happy to come out to your house to give you a bid.

This picture dramatically ilustrates how Icynene Insulation seals up the leaks of the house.  It prevents the wind from blowing through into the house.  This Icynene can be trimmed off with a putty knife and painted over.

This dramatically improves the thermal efficiency of the home.  Call us at 457-4341, 379-3862 or 1-800-828-5508 if you would like us to bid on improving the insulation of your home.

Shrubs To Close To Structure

Shrubs planted too close to the structure.   This is a common mistake that is committed by some of the most famous Landscape Professionals.

Shrub too close to structure.

Shrub too close to structure.

You can watch programs on Saturday TV and see many examples of shrubs, flowers and trees being planted too close to the structure.   The problem is that the person doing the landscaping is trying to impress the people driving by the structure being landscaped.  These people do not realy care.  They should be keeping their eyes on the road.  The people that the planting should be done for are the people living within the structure.  The landscaper should not be so concerned with Curb Appeal.  Design the landscape so that it can be viewed by the people from within the structure.
